Drums by Yamaha Peeler Drum Center carries the full line of new Yamaha electronic drumsets. Fully redesigned for 2004, these kits boast significant improvements over previous models. The DTXTREMEIIS (DTXTREME2S) kit shown at right is Yamahas' new flagship high-end electronic drumset. It is offered in a 6 piece configuration with Bass, snare, 4 toms, hi-hat and three cymbals. It has newly redesigned 3-zone rubber drum pads offer players performance comfort and natural rebound. Each pad includes an assignable controller knob which can be used to adjust pitch, voice selection or other parameters or in the case of the snare pad "strainer tension". The hi-hat controller combines a real foot operated stand with realistic shaped cymbal pad for traditional look and feel. Onboard electronics include 1757 realistic drum voices, 128 GM (General MIDI) voices, 90 preset drum kits, 40 user kits, 164 preset songs and 32 user songs, Groove Check practice feature, easy-view backlit display, and 8MB of voices, kits or songs my be stored via a SmartMedia (TM) storage card. MIDI and USB TO HOST connections are included. |

| The Yamaha DTXPRESSIlI SPECIAL (DTXPRESS3 SPECIAL) kit shown at right is basically the same as the DTXPRESSIII shown below, with the addition of new realistic multi-zone cymbal pads (3-zone, 2-zone or mono), and a new stand mounted hi-hat controller which has a realistic shaped hi-hat pad and more natural foot pedal feel. In addition, the DTXPRESSIII SPECIAL ships complete with a drum throne and bass drum pedal included. |

| The Yamaha DTXPRESSIlI (DTXPRESS3) shown at right has improved sounds, natural feel and user-friendliness. The DTXPRESSIII features a selection of new audio waveforms that are ultra-realistic, with a strong concentration on acoustic cymbal sounds. Upgraded soft rubber pads offer drummers more performance comfort and natural rebound. Physical improvements include a silver rack system that resists chips and scratches. These kits ship with the frame fully assembled in one box; users simply fold out the support legs and cymbal arms for quick and easy setup. The new DTXPRESSIII module is loaded with over 1000 sounds, 128 GM (General MIDI) voices, 80 drum kits, 127 songs, an integrated 2-track sequencer, 3-zone snare pad, Groove Check practice feature and an easy-view backlit display. An external sound source can be routed through the module if the player wishes to practice along with an external sound source while listening through headphones.
